Vanessa grew up in the lovely nation’s capital where she has been an advocate for as long as she can remember. She is an alum from the University of Ottawa’s law school and has strong ties to the arts scene in Ottawa, particularly the swing dance community, spoken word and poetry community, as well as the theatre and contemporary dance communities. When she’s not at TDP you can see her zipping around downtown on her Bobbin Vintage or walking her beloved pug, Monty.
